Dr. Kemal Celebi, ETH Zürich: 20% of the world population lacks access to clean water. However, it is not only poor man’s problem. As the climate change looms, the overconsuming rich man also feels the discomfort: and thus fuels the technical advances, to flush the freshwater.

Dr. Razvi Farooque Shaik, Paul-Scherrer Institute: Sensory perception has been debated about, since the dawn of human reasoning. We have accepted the idea that, we are what our senses allow us to perceive from the world. Let’s delve into some of the hypothesis regarding sensory perception and look at where we stand in terms of understanding molecular principles in sensing the world around us and where we are heading to in future?
